I need some cosplayers to replace the masses that have pulled out.

PLEASE contact me if you're intrested in the job! It's a minimum of $15 an hour from 10am-3pm at Nundah Village Festival tomorrow!

Hi,

I've been asked with finding some costumers/cosplayers/models in costumes, for promo work at Nundah Village Festival 2011.

The festival is on September the 11th (Sunday) and you will be required to work from 10am to 3pm. And there will be opportunities for breaks throughout the day.

We are looking for people in costumes to walk around the festival, pose for photos with atendees and hand out somethings from various stores. The day is laid back and generally alot of fun. Costumes must be provided by the wearer (they will NOT be provided for you) and generally we are looking for anything that will be recognised by a large range of people. We've got some Lord of the Rings and Disney cosplayers at the moment and are in talks with some awesome Halo costumers as well!

This is paid, and although I can't guarentee a large amount of money (as it is a non-profit event) It's an easy way to make a bit of money. Pay will be based on experience and costume.

Okay, I was looking around in my room and found a couple of wigs that I never really wore.

So, I'm going to sell them here Fingers crossed you guys will buy them. That or I'll be chucking them up on ebay.




So, First is Pink and Yellow wig - perfect for Sherryl Nome. Gorgeous colour and new condition - never worn. $30



Diamond Crevasse Sherryl Nome wig. Absolutley perfect! Honestly. Perfect. It's very long, mid-thigh, barel curls, powder blue colour with some lilac, slightly darker blue streaks all blended in. Worn once. $45  SOLD



Red, long wig, straight cut fringe. Originally bought for a Kenshin cosplay (1/2 Prince). Been worn once for about 5 minutes. $30



Long dark brown wig - straight cut fringe. Waist/hip length. Never worn. $30 SOLD (I think)

So, As the title says - I have a new Job.

Today I was offered a six month contract as a travelling hair and make up artist with a portraiture photography company. I've also found out that they want me to leave on Tuesday.

I'm sad about all the things that I'm now going to be missing over the six months including conventions, concerts, family outings, my panel and dnd. But despite this, this is a huge opportunity for me as they are going to help me transfer into the photography side during the contract. The conditions are good and the pay is bloody awesome. I've been paired up with another photographer and I'm very excited about what's to come.

When I return I have a feeling that I'll be even more excited as I will have enough money saved (and I've done the budgeting a billion times) to Buy a Nikon D3X (body only) and get everything for my lighting kit!

So, I have of course said yes.

I'm super excited about the job, and even more excited about the pay checks. I'll be gone for a while but there's not much that I can do about that unfortunatley.

So, I'll probably chuck some pics up while I'm gone, but other than that. I'll be off for quite a while. Especially the next little while as I go through my room and pack.

Well, it's been a while.

I've got nothing left to update my DA with and have next to time seeing as I'm leaving for Kenya in 7 1/2 weeks.

In that time i have to raise a truck load of money.

Cheap Tax deductable shoots anyone 8D ??

But yeah, I'm going to Kenya, and it'll be the start of my work on a photo book. I've been working on the concept for a while now and it'll involve further travel over the next few years. I hope to finish it sometime in 2012/2013.
